Post 3: Past Knife experiences Dwindle – Successes Increase!

What has become clear to me now is that I see how the ‘knife experiences’ of my life got smaller and smaller through the exercise that I shared about in yesterday’s post.
I learned about the distinction of a knife experiences from Morguelan Energy Institute (www.energyforsuccess.org) where I have been applying the Ancient Chinese Energy Techniques to my life to bring more success to my goals. A knife experience is something that was painful or cut like a knife.
When journeying through my past there were lots of past knife experiences which lived like a giant that become bigger over the years. For all I know, all of the past knife experiences were really pretty small but when I played them back over and over again on the big screen, they developed a higher resolution and lived like THEY were the big events to me. Consequently they were the BIG part of who I saw I am, in a negative way. After reviewing each life event and grasping the learning lesson that catapulted me forward, or the strength I gained as a result of the situation, or the power that I had as my self-esteem increased, the giants of my past dwindled. As these events shrank in proportion, I could see that who I am is framed by my successes and not my failures !
This is a victory point of my life where I can actually see my own success. It means that I don’t have to chase after anything and there is nothing to prove or overcome from my past. It means that any challenges that I may face in the future will be met with success.
This is a transformational moment of awareness as I go through the creation phases of our project next week. Creation for the sake of creation, nothing more. I feel very ZEN! Surely this must be enlightenment! At the very least I am “in-lighten-d” — I smile just thinking of it in these terms.
What I now know:
1. I have met all of my challenges with success and it was necessary for ME to be able to see my own success.
2. I am ready to create for the sake of creation.
3. The knife experiences of life pale in the face of success. This is the reward.
I’ll be resting up and playing this weekend to get ready for the next part of the creation process. See you then!
Love,
Jan

Totally agree with Doug — the wisdom you are sharing is the kind of leadership people want to follow. Real, inspiring, heart-centered, and oh so ‘in-LIGHT-ening’ — both in showing the way and taking the heaviness out of the challenges of life!!! Love & LIGHT — Patty
P.S. Flo says — Like your style, Honey! You are servin up exactly what this crazy world needs!
