Post 5: Magic Wands and Completion crafts new beginnings

The buzz today is about 9-9-09 day, a quadruple 9; another way to say it….big day of completion.  The nice line up of the 9’s today is a balance of Western & Mayan calendar’s as there is an beginning / ending happening there too signifying more mathematical alignments.

I began my day today, after a Harry Potter day yesterday.  My answer to what Harry would do, took me to the crafts store to purchase supplies to make a Magic Wand. Harry would approve, I thought! Then I went to the current Harry Potter movie with Alan to see what I could learn from the Wizard. Then home from my escape into cinema bliss to craft the best looking magic wand!  How fun the project became as we glued our fingers together with the hot glue gun, had to chase the ribbon spool after the cat ran with it, and made a mess with the glitter.  I finally relaxed about the glitter when I realized that a little sparkle made things look more magical.

Then this morning, I took my Magic Wand and waved it around declaring the past complete and making room for the new start tomorrow. The voices were all there in my head saying…..

Have you lost your mind? they said

“I certainly hope so!  I said back!”

What self-respecting Grammy does these things?

“I do! and hold up on the Grammy bit.”

As odd as it seems that at my age I find this sort of thing fun and entertaining, however there is a method to my madness. What if all of this IS the way of the future?  It’s better to declare it’s a HARRY POTTER DAY and make more magic and fun than the seriousness of life.  This is the red maze — it winds around and back.  Sometimes it looks like I am moving forward and some days it retraces the same steps.

All of this being said, I feel sadness.  Can’t help it — when there is
sadness it is just there. I didn’t stop my day because of it, however,
I just wish it wasn’t there.  Everyone can relate to feeling like you wish you had achieved more than you have at this point in the maze.  I certainly can, I am creating a Product Launch, however, I spent yesterday making a magic wand and going to a movie instead of doing the work!!!  What you say?  This IS the work! I relax again.

I’m in the red maze and thank goodness I have my wand with me for the rest of the journey.
