Post 9: Out of the red maze and my cluelessness!

Today is the day to wrap things up and my day to declare I’m out of the red maze.  The red maze is my series of 9 posts sharing about my journey and experiences of the creation of a product launch.  The last month has been filled with the twists and turns that this project is taking me and each post was a part of that uncertainty as I traveled down the road. The project is really just beginning, however, the clueless period is finished.

The clueless phase is an important aspect in any endeavor where I don’t know that I have it in me to do this and yet I go ahead and discover what I need along the way.

Nobody likes to be in this clueless period; which is a time where you have to get busy, take actions, and gather data.  After a while I felt an adjustment to this uncomfortable time of my life, an actual ease came in, as well as, I am feeling additional confidence about the process.  I can do this!  Perhaps the clueless period is really about just getting to this point where I declare that it really is going to happen; just as it says in my book BEE-ing Attraction, who I am BEE-ing  is that I believe in me!

I found that the most important aspect of going through the red maze is to recognize that I am adjusting to not knowing the outcome and to not confuse it with thinking that I actually know what is going to happen.   This is one of the twists that I had to learn …. being in an uncertain place is a far better place to be, than in a place of certainty!  Why?  When I am sure about how it will turn out my thinking is one of false certainty usually fueled by a fear-filled thought.  It would be more empowering to say that I am uncertain about how it will turn out and stay in the thought that the impossible is possible. During the clueless period:

• I keep seeking answers
• I reach out for support
• I think extraordinary thoughts
• I go beyond where I thought I could go
• I am watching for the ‘clues’ for solutions to the mystery

The realization that I have been going through the clueless period + plus the thought that I am uncertain about how it will turn out + combined with the belief that the impossible is possible = springs me forward into the next phase of the project.  The next phase is about implementation, promotion and delivery.  I’ll be writing about the next few phases because this is very helpful for me to chat this out AND perhaps it will be useful for anyone else who is in a new beginning phase of your business and or projects.
