The energy of circles

The energy of circles has long been known by our ancestors and perhaps you have experienced how special a walk around a labyrinth can be.

King Arthur and his Knights certainly knew the importance of meeting at a round table because it gave everyone an equal seat of power. Wedding rings have long represented the circle as a symbol of eternity and when two rings are put together they represent infinity.

The energy of circles, whether seated in a circle, at a round table, or gathering on a virtual tele-conference call — provides everyone the ability to take part in the whole as valuable contributors. Every person contributes their energy which gives everyone an increase in the group energy; this raise in energetic vibration is more than would have been possible otherwise .

Another beautiful aspect of circles lies in how the energy radiates out beyond the immediate circle into the world. You might have experienced this if you have been part of a group that meditated, prayed, or visualized common thoughts to be sent out to others.

It has been said that every thought or action that we take effects 7 future generations; if this is true, then the benefits of the circle is helping us all shape our futures and the ones of our children and grandchildren.

Take a few moments today, consider the wonderful healing power when you are walking a labyrinth, or gathering in a circle. Acknowledge yourself for the effect that can be felt and perhaps not seen — give thanks for being strong enough to have faith and trust that your efforts, no matter how small you think they are, are being received in a grand way.
